General Terms and Conditions for Short-Term Apartment Rentals
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all short-term rental agreements between the landlord and the tenant for the offered apartment. By booking, the tenant accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Contract Conclusion
A booking is confirmed as soon as the tenant has transferred a deposit of 50% of the total price to the landlord. The tenant will receive an email with the necessary bank details after booking.
3. Payment Terms
The deposit is due within the period specified in the booking confirmation. The remaining balance can be paid by bank transfer before arrival or on-site upon arrival.
4. Cancellation and Refund
Free cancellation is possible up to 5 days before arrival. In this case, the deposit will be fully refunded. For cancellations less than 5 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained.
5. Children's Policy
Children up to the age of 3 stay free of charge. They do not need to be included in the booking and do not increase the total price.
6. Use of the Apartment
The apartment may only be used for residential purposes. The tenant agrees to treat the apartment with care, to report any damage immediately, and to comply with the house rules. Subletting or transferring the apartment to third parties is not permitted.
7. Arrival and Departure
Arrival and departure take place at the times specified by the landlord. Deviations are possible by prior arrangement.
8. Liability
The tenant is liable for all damages caused during their stay by them, accompanying persons, or visitors. The landlord is not liable for the tenant's personal belongings.
9. Returning the Apartment
The apartment must be returned in a properly maintained condition. Significant soiling or damage may result in additional cleaning costs or claims for compensation.
10. Final Provisions
Should any individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Amendments or additions must be in writing.
